6-10-05 John Conyers prepares petition concerning the Downing Street Memos

Representative John Conyers of Michigan, along with nearly 100 congressmen, is delivering a Petition with 455,938 signatures on it, demanding answers concerning the Downing Street Memo; in which high ranking British officials reported that the Bush administration admitted it was already determined to invade Iraq, and was "fixing" intelligence about WMD's to justify the war.

There are 455,938 American Citizen’s demanding answers, not just one Republican appointed Special Prosecutor as was the case with Bill Clinton; we      watch television and we read newspapers… and we deserve to have our voices heard along with our opinions reported in the news media.
